You can always tinker with it to get it looking “right” as you go along.

If you have learned a lot of the technical stuff then you are in a better position than most. When things like blogging, social media etc are mentioned, at least it is not going to be foreign to you!
If you are up to speed with all of that, then it sounds to me like you need help with putting it all together and then marketing it.
That will all be covered in the coaching modules so it should help to propel you forward and make the next six months a lot more profitable than the first!

I would appreciate the consideration as one of your spots. I have been trying this online money making for approx 9 months now and have yet to make a dime. Half my hard drive is filled up with how to e-books and I think I pretty much have it down to an art as to how not to make money on the internet. Do you think maybe I could write an e-book on that subject and make money? That could be my niche.
Seriously though, I am teachable, I’m just broke. I think my bottleneck is in generating traffic. I really do need to learn how to produce an income online as my hours have been cut at work and I don’t know if I’m going to make it through the next round of lay offs.
I don’t need to make hundreds of thousands of dollars, just enough to relieve the worry of do we eat or pay the mortgage.
I am very excited about the prospect of learning how to make money from someone that knows how.

Actually, that would make a really good ebook, as long as you countered each point with a way to do things properly and make money!

This has made me search for one thing that works and has diluted my focus somewhat. I therefore need a structure and I believe that you may be the man to give me that structure.
I also find that UK marketers are more honest and give more content without all the airy fairy BS (they call a spade a spade if you know what I mean?!)

Hallo David, have websites, domain names, AWeber, PayPal (Africans are not allowed to receive money through them, only pay through them), AlertPay, etc. But I cannot seem to get the idea on how to monetize the sites. This does sound good – its always good to learn from someone who knows more than myself, wich clearly is the case.
The problem I have is that old mantra, TIME! i know Alex says we all have the same amount of hours in the day etc but I have comitments which I have to fulfill outside IM which I intend to get rid of as the IM starts to pay off, so I would be more than happy to be involved if it helps me move things forward.
One thing though, will you be recording these so we can pick up later?

I’ve been around marketing for many years now although I’m relatively new to online marketing.
Me and my wife Angie decided to take the plunge this year and work on it full time. So far we’ve no success to speak of. Just had a site slapped by Google with 7/10 scores and good CTR. Done over 50 PPC campaigns – no winners to speak of.
We’ve been working on blogs for a relatively short period. I have a blog for my sport (www.badminton-coach.co.uk) It’s not making money because I haven’t tried to monetize it yet. It has around 1-2000 hits per month which I’d say is good for a niche sport. I have hits from around the world. The site was established with the view to testing only.
Now, here’s my point (sorry it took a while). I’ve seen all the talk about the money being in the list. But, I haven’t seen anyone tell it like it is and really explain to people like me how to make it work. Give me the info and tools and I’ll work it hard but I always feel I’m being given half the story. Does that sound familiar?
So, what I’m looking for is help. I want a no frills give it to me type of approach – the full deal, so that I can get it and it should work. Is that too much to ask?
The big question is, can you deliver this for me? If so, and we make it work, then we’re all happy. I’m not here to BS anyone, I just want to do this right, do it now and then we all share. So are you the guy that can make it happen?
I appreciate and thanks for mentioning that you’re not one of the £100K a week guys. That’s fine by me. They’re so far in another land, I don’t think they’ll ever share their best stuff, until it’s not their best anymore that is. Call me cynical. But, I want to be a £100K per week guy and I want it in 2010. Do you?
I understand databases in terms of marketing. But, building targeted lists is something I’m really struggling with now.
I’ll leave you to think on this email. I’m not into ripping people off and certainly not into finding ways to get multiple freebies. This year I’ve spent over £10,000 on coaching and courses and it’s really beginning to p**s me off that these so-called gurus do not deliver anywhere near what they say they will do. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve learnt a lot about PPC, building sites (although not enough) setting up campaigns and I think we do most of this pretty well. From PPC classroom, we were considered highly advanced, but still got nowhere, otherwise, I’d be raking it in right now and be on my way to owning an Aston Martin (one of my dreams).
To sum up, I’m looking forward to your course and hope it get me to where I want to go. Along the way, I hope to share what I’ve learnt but have no aspirations of teaching this stuff. If you get it right, then I’m sure your business will rocket and we will do all we can to help you.
Can I just say, if I had a site that was getting 2000 visitors a month you would have to shoot me to stop me from monetizing it. Get to it man.

It sounds like you have a great basis for a business if your badminton blog is already pulling in between 1-2k visitors per month.
If this is a niche you are really passionate about, then we can work on you becoming the “go to” guy, the expert, the authority figure in badminton.
My coaching will give you the FULL story. I will teach you all I know about setting up and running a successful online business and the techniques can be applied to any niche.
It’s going to take time, hard work and ongoing effort, but I am not promising a “magic bullet” which will make you rich overnight. I think £100k a week in under 12 months is a tad unrealistic but in the longer term, why not?

You asked three questions to why I want to TAKE ACTION with this and with you?
1. My objective from the coaching is simply to LISTEN, LEARN and APPLY your ideas and processes so I can make a six figure annual income within two years. I have always wanted to do this, but my love and loyalty to my job has stopped me from doing so. But as many are finding out, including me, that is no longer a two way process.
No more excuses, I WANT TO TAKE ACTION to HELP ME, THOSE CLOSE TO ME and THOSE WORSE OFF THAN ME, without ever having to wonder if I can afford to give that help.
2. My biggest struggle is simply to take the first step. I am not entrepreneurial, but can think beyond the box, and take existing ideas and processes, and always think of something better. I have never had the finances to put those into action, and my personal objections to ever borrowing money when there is risk to others has stopped me from taking many first steps.
I won’t lie. If you were charging the $997, I could not afford it. But as you are offering this free, I am taking you up on it. I will promise one thing – I WILL take that first step, and I WILL PUT INTO ACTION those things you show, if you would please guide me step by step to achieving my objective.
3. Why you? I dont really know. I have never met you. But I have always been one to believe that it is not what a person says that makes you want to ‘BE’ with them, its the way they sound and look when theyre saying it! If you take action and apply everything I teach during the coaching modules then there is no reason why you could not earn a six figure annual income within two years.
However, you should also realise that I am not promising a “quick fix”. A lot of hard work and effort will be required to succeed, but by taking the steps I outline in the coaching, it will save you a lot of wasted time and ensure you are as productive as you can possibly be even if you are still working a regular job in the meantime.

I dont expect a quck fix, to the contrary.
I simply wish to be guided to set up an income generator online immediately after the six week training – set up a site of great content from the niches I wish to cater for, looks professional and viewed as done by expert web deigners, has traffic coming to it from google and other methods on autopilot, and over the next 12 months generate an income of £3,000 to 5,000 per month, increasing to £10,000-£15,000 per month over 24 months.
For this, I will do everything you ask me to do. I have a goal, you have the expertise. You show me what to do and how to do it, and I will follow. I want to run an online business myself, doing things myself, with your support, not for you to do the things for me beyonf the original training you offer.

You will be able to get going before the six modules are over. The key is to take action rather than hanging around trying to get everything “perfect” first.
I am not going to teach you how to create a professional looking website or blog, I am not a designer. If you want a professionally designed blog – it’s much easier to just buy a professionally designed theme rather than spend six months learning design
While I will talk about traffic generation techniques, ongoing work to driving traffic to your websites will be required. I don’t think anything can truly be on “auto pilot”.
I am just trying to be as straight as possible with you here before we begin because I don’t want you to have false expectations of the training I am going to provide.

You mentioned how vitally important it is to have a mentor or mentors, David. I agree that that is the way to go. Following that path will hasten my learning and achievement in internet marketing.

Lee’s workshop was great. You should make the effort to attend his next one which takes place in Newcastle in January.
A kick up the ass was exactly what I needed because I had become complacent and was putting off moving forward.
So, I decided to take massive action and do things which really take me out of my comfort zone, such as attending a workshop (never done it before), putting on coaching webinars (never done them before) and I am also lining up some audio interviews (never done these before, either).
Doing both of these activities will be a major shock to the system, but I need to do them if I am going to take my business to the next level.
I want to show people during the coaching sessions that success online CAN be achieved, you just need to force yourself to do it because nobody else is going to do it for you.

But I don’t see how anyone can complain about this… you have made it *very* clear that it’s free, no fluff, no upsells, side sells, back sells, etc. etc. Just what is there to complain about?
I admire your input in Alex’s space and know that you are a sincere person. Whatever you have to say, I know I will learn a lot from you. Even though I’ve been at this marketing thing for almost 5 years, and seeing gradual increases year to year, I’m not anywhere near the levels I thought I’d be at by now.
I know you won’t be holding anything back, but I don’t expect you to know all the “secrets” either, if you have not been exposed to them yourself. As a first effort, you are bound to still be learning too, and teaching is one of the best ways to become an expert.
I can’t wait to get started… you go guy! It’s all about massive action, as you said. Maybe that’s the main ingredient I lack…

ive decided to focus on a passion of mine in self-help/personal development that has a strong relationship slant — sorry for the vagueness, but its pre-launch.
but i will say i expect it to benefit alot of people, and my fb from presenting it to a few select folks has been extremely positive.
ive realized thats how im structured – to work from my core passion – and i want to do a membership for that area of knowledge.
what i am finding fascinating is that now i am really doing this thing instead of dabbling in affiliate promo and some other things is how REAL it gets — and the steps you must take become anything but vague. what i mean is the whole internet marketing thing has felt vague, but now that ive finally made a decision on what i want to do and say, suddenly its changed. hope this makes sense.
i now see the internet as a form of communication technology that enhances what you do and say, but the key, just as with the telephone, is you have to KNOW what you really want to DO and SAY!
so my only concern re your training is that youre going to cover too many things. ive seen that i need to focus on one model, in this case the monthly membership. i am writing the ebook now, i will offer the first several chapters free as a download to build my list from my video squeeze page plus offer free video content leading to the squeeze page, etc.
anyway, you are very generous and kind to share your knowledge in this way and i would certainly be interested… the whole positioning and authority thing will be key for me, as i intend to roll this out via online pr, offline media and pr, workshops, public speaking etc. and in fact i have a course in this subject lined up to give in the city where i live in February, 2010. but i am pretty nebulous re what authority means in terms of blog and online.

I agree with you that now I have a very focused direction on what I want to do online, it has become very REAL to me too. I think spending time with other marketers who are killing it on a monthly basis helped me to focus and take action!
The coaching is going to be focused. There are six modules covering different areas but they are all important. I am NOT just going to give you a load of generalised information – each module is going to be delivered with a purpose and send you on the right path to get things done properly.
I am going to focus on planning, getting your basics (i.e. blog and autoresponder) in place, how to portray yourself online as an authority from the word go via your blog, getting your sales funnel set up properly, traffic generation and then email marketing.
Yes, there is a variety of content there but it’s all complimentary and will help you focus on one project, in your case a self help continuity site.

Thanks for a brilliant webinar last night really enjoyed it mate, I too am a student of AJ’s Coaching Course and like you said some of the information covered was also covered by Alex in his first webinar, but thats not a bad thing, it’s good to recap information. I always find that different people explain things in different ways, and you put the information across in an easy to understand way. I managed to take some notes which I will put in my journal so I can revisit them later and recap.

I have a question, regarding affiliate marketing, is it better to make a review site of multiple related products and have links to them, or make all little separated websites for each product mimicking the real website we are promoting and the name of that website, this is what seems to make no sens to me right now, maybe I am dead wrong, I do not believe in PPC and adwords as a newbie IM.
