Paul Wilson & David Walker’s World Cup Giveaway

Following the success of my 30th Birthday Giveaway, I have teamed up with fellow UK-marketer Paul Wilson to launch an event to coincide with the World Cup 2010!

The giveaway is now open for contributors and launches to members on Friday 11 May.

There has been huge competition this month and I don’t think I have ever seen so many giveaways taking place at the same time but Paul and I have pulled out all the stops to make this event as successful as it can be!

Whether you are looking to promote your own free gift in order to build your email list or simply download lots of free stuff from hundreds of the internet’s top marketers, my giveaway has something for you:

Contributors

Register as a contributor via this link and submit your free gift.

However, if you have more than one gift you would like to promote, then consider upgrading to one of the following packages for additional features:

Upsell– $27
4 x Free Gifts
3 x Special Offers
5 x Text Ads
75% Commissions
Bonus Package of 50 Brand New MRR Products!

Downsell – $17
2 x Free Gifts
1 x Special Offer
2 x Text Ads
50% Commissions
Bonus Package of 15 Brand New MRR Products

To make this giveaway even more interesting, we decided to offer cash prizes to the top five JV partners who refer a combination of the most contributors and members:

First Prize – $500
Second Prize - $300
Third Prize – $125
Fourth Prize – $50
Fifth Prize – $25

If you are new to JV Giveaways or don’t have a list to promote to then you can still get involved in my event because I am not downgrading contributors for “lack of promotion”, a ploy used by many other giveaways.

I adopted the “no downgrade” strategy during my 30th Birthday Giveaway and it was very well received.

I have also prepared original email swipe copy for you to use to promote the giveaway to your list, use on Twitter, Facebook etc.

Members

Our giveaway is set to be one the largest giveaway events taking place in June and there are hundreds of free gifts to download from inside the members area.

Register as a member via this link and watch out for an incredible One Time Offer I have created just for you.

If you are taking part in the giveaway, either as a contributor or member, please leave me a comment below, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it!

    Hi David,
After your last giveaway (30th birthday) and I saw how awesome that was… How could I NOT sign up for this one?
AND….I will always upgrade to your giveaways!! I know you don’t downgrade people who have a challenge getting people to sign up, either! When I first got started, I didn’t have a list, and I would get downgraded for not signing people up, so I stopped doing giveaways. I mean…I thought giveaways were to help build a list, and being downgraded is definitely no help!! Kinda bums ya out after all that work to get a gift, list it, pay for the upgrade and get downgraded cause no one signed up!! Not cool.

Then I met Paul Teague and WOAH! He is a giveaway pro!
Now I only participate in Giveaways from the coolest marketers that are helping people whether they have a list or not. Too many shady characters trying to make a buck and I don’t want to be associated with that. Bad Karma

Thanks for putting on another awesome giveaway and I will holler at cha later!!
    Good luck!!

    Lisa~
P.S. My list is growing!! :) Thank you!

      Hi Lisa,

I am glad you found value in my 30th Birthday Giveaway, it was a great experience.

Paul is a true pro when it comes to giveaways and he gave me a lot of help in setting up mine.

    Hi David,

Just as Lisa was commenting, I feel the same way. I have been part of several giveaway events and at every one of them, I felt almost forced to upgrade. I didn’t like that at all so I stopped participating in them.

But I have been hearing great things about you and others like you who are not that way and I want you to know that I appreciate that and I will be taking part soon.
    Thanks,
    Mike

      Hi Mike,

Glad to have you on board!

Unfortunately ‘no downgrade’ giveaways are few and far between but keep an eye out for them!

    Hi David,
Just wanted to tell you that your World Cup Giveaway event was my very FIRST experience with giveaways.
As a pretty new marketer and like most others, trying to build a list as quickly and as effectively as possible, your event gave enabled me to get 30 subscribers. I know for you that’s probably sounds pretty small but to me IT WAS MAKING A START!!!

So where ever I go in this world of online marketing I will always remember your World Cup event…bit like your first date!!!

Thanks again David and I thought the whole experience was terrific, especially the additional value you created with the training on the site – that was great for me.

    Hallo David,

Thanks for blogging about your JV Giveaway experience. Having participated in 3 Giveaways in the past few weeks, I’ve realized how good they can be for building the list of the ORGANIZER.

I’ve just hopped over to your top 10 reasons why your JV giveaway rocked… very useful! I’ll be posting this to the MWA forum, if you don’t mind.

I’m looking to organize a JV giveaway, in partnership with a few other Marketing with Alex students. I’d love to chat with you about it.

    Thanks!
    Bolaji.
p.s. Love your focus on solving your subscribers’ problems in the month of September. Will be watching to see how it goes!
