My New Twitter Background

Just a quick post to round off what has been another busy week and I thought I’d showcase my brand new Twitter background! I have had a Twitter account for around 18 months or so but only started using it seriously since April this year. In that time, I have exploded my following from around 500 Twitter users to over 36,000 and thought it was about time I had a professional background to compliment my account.

If you haven’t already seen thebackground in action, here it is:

Pretty snazzy, eh?

It was designed by KillerTweets.com and after an initial hiccup in which they did not acknowledge my order for a week, there was a fast turnaround when the issue had been rectified.

I wanted something which reflected my home country of Wales, as I think we are a bit under represented online and also wanted to showcase my blog and social media accounts, to make it easier for new readers to connect with me.

This is what some of my Twitter followers had to say about the new look:

Hi David. The twitter background is great mate. I caught your comment on my blog. Most probably we will get together with the other guys after the course. Let’s see. Keep it up mate.

    Dear David,

Of course the background is great. It is interesting from our conversation on your last webinar that you are not all that keen anymore on Twitter.

I find that the quality of traffic is not that great…and I read on (almost done with the first month of posts).
