What was supposed to be a relaxing week long break on the sunshine island of Tenerife turned into a slightly longer stay after Nicola and I arrived a day before Iceland decided to explode.
We were lucky.
A seven day break stretched to a not-too-inconvenient 10 day stay as the blanket “no flying” ruling was lifted towards the end of our holiday.
Unsurprisingly it took a few days to sort out the chaos and get the schedules back to normal.
I had next to no internet access while abroad so couldn’t do “anything” apart from laze about and drink lager (tough life, eh?) but I did record this short video on the day we were originally due to return home.
But, I am back in the UK now and get right back into the swing of things.
