Google Supremacy Review
The Google Supremacy training program launches on Tuesday 6 July and it’s creator, Craig Dawber, claims it will enable your web pages to be ranked highly in Google.
Craig proved himself to be an open, honest marketer when he agreed to be interviewed by me last week so that gets an immediate thumbs-up.
If you haven’t listened to the SEO experts interview yet, then make sure you do because some great content was shared for free!
But what about the product itself?
I was really pleased when Craig contacted me to inform me of this training program because I relied heavily on search engine optimization to send traffic to my websites when I used to be involved in both the gambling and soccer niches.
Therefore, I am reviewing this product as an SEO expert myself and not just somebody who is going to read it and say “Wow, search engine traffic! Why didn’t I think of that before?”
Google Supremacy Review
In a nutshell, Google Supremacy is about getting your blog, website, sales pages etc. ranked highly in Google so you can enjoy lots of highky targeted and better still, free, search engine traffic.
Craig’s own business is focused around creating review blogs, ranking them in Google and earning affiliate commissions so he uses that as a template throughout the training.
He is also about volume – how many review blogs earning X amount of dollars each per day do you need to be able to do [insert whatever it is you want to achieve here].
But, you can use the techniques presented in the guide for any web property you own, such as blogs (including specific pages on your blog and not just the homepage), sales pages etc. so don’t feel like you have to start creating review blogs if you don’t want to.
I am using some techniques myself very similar to what Craig discusses in this program to help my blog rank more prominently in the search engines.
Niche & Keyword Research
During the interview, Craig mentioned the importance of doing proper keyword research on more than one occasion so it came as no surprise to read a detailed section on how to do proper niche and keyword research.
The mistakes a lot of marketers make is they perform only very basic keyword research. Their eyes light up when they see how many monthly searches a particular phrase gets and then build a website around it.
They could invest months of time and effort, eventually rank at the top of the pile, flood their website with free traffic but still not make any money.
Why?
Because the keywords they have focused on are not “buying” keywords.
Where Google Supremacy excels is Craig outlines how to distinguish between popular keywords and keywords where people are actually interested in buying something.
Get this right and you are half way to success before you even start.
Domain Names
Having found your niche and a list of profitable keywords, you can now register a domain name.
I cannot stress how important it is to do it this way and not the other way around – I have registered numerous domain names on a whim because I liked how they sounded then never did anything with them because I couldn’t see how they’d fit into my business.
Another awesome tactic Craig discusses is registering an “aged domain”, that is a domain name which has expired but has lots of juicy backlinks already pointing to it!
I used this tactic myself on several occasions and bought some amazing, powerful domains…
I registered the domain name used for the Africa Cup of Nations soccer tournament in 2008 which had links pointing to it from the BBC, The Times newspaper in the UK, the New York Times and several government websites based in Ghana.
An academic institution in the USA had a separate website for one of their sports teams with hundreds of valuable .edu links pointing to it. The PR7 (I know!) domain name expired, I snapped it up and went to dominate the search engines for one particular niche and made thousands of dollars as a result.
These domains are out there and they are not difficult to obtain…
Backlinking
The most important step to ensure your pages rank highly in Google is get plenty of high quality, one-way links pointing to them.
Without revealing the exact strategy Google Supremacy employs, it’s about harnessing the power of Web 2.0 properties which are available in abundance and better still, can be used for free.
Craig provides numerous examples of these properties and how to go about setting them up to form the basis of a powerful collection of backlinks to your site.
He then goes on to describe other sources of backlinks so you ensure your web pages have a diverse selection of links pointing back to them.
Overall this was quite a comprehensive section but if there was one oversight, I felt more could have been made of showing you how to create backlinks to your backlinks, to make sure Google actually finds them and give them even more strength.
Article Marketing
No guide on ranking prominently in Google would be complete without at least a mention of article marketing and Craig does not disappoint.
An entire section of Google Supremacy is devoted to article marketing and the subject is covered in quite some detail.
Craig discusses how to structure and write an article that converts, the different types of article you can write and also how to make it LSI-compliant.
LSI stands for “Latent Semantic Indexing” which means if you are writing about a particular keyphrase, you had better make sure the rest of the article content is relevant to it.
This section acts like a “crash course” into becoming an expert article marketer and Craig could have sold it as a stand-alone product because it is that informative!
Outsourcing
Considering how important writing and linking are to using this training program, it was a surprise when Craig revealed he doesn’t actually like writing, or indeed linking, when I interviewed him.
Fortunately, this is not a problem because almost every task within Google Supremacy can be outsourced.
Resources for finding competent outsource workers are linked to within the training guide and Craig also offers several tools which can automate the more monotonous tasks.
While this is not the most comprehensive resource on outsourcing (and of course it shouldn’t be as it is not an outsourcing product!) there is enough information in there to get you started delegating such tasks to somebody else.
If you are going to scale up the techniques described in this training program you will not be able to do it by yourself so this section was a useful addition.
45 Day Action Plan
With this being such a comprehensive guide and there being a lot to take in, such as niche research, backlinking, writing articles etc. it would be easy for a beginner to quickly become overwhelmed.
I was pleased to see that Craig addressed this by also providing a 45-day step-by-step guide to complement the main training manual.
The 45-day action plan breaks down all of the tasks described into bite-size chunks enabling even a complete novice to get the important work done and not feel lost.
When you have completed your 45-days worth of blog building and promotion, you can use it over and over again for all of your future projects!
You could even provide it to your outsource team to given them specific instructions on what to do on each day of a 45-day cycle.
Verdict
Overall, I was impressed by Google Supremacy because of its comprehensive and honest approach to successful search engine optimization and making money with blogs.
I have used similar techniques myself and can honestly say they work.
The truth is, search engine optimization takes time and effort and I applaud Craig for not trying to pretend otherwise in this training program.
There is so much “push button” garbage being hawked around in this industry and the only thing it achieves is a diminished bank account. Hearing Craig tell it like it is, i.e. “there is work involved”, was quite refreshing…
The 45-day Action Plan is a great inclusion because it will force you to keep your mind focused on the required tasks to get a new blog online and ranked prominently in Google until experience and earnings will allow you to outsource them.
I scored the “Ease of Implementation” slightly lower than the rest due to the amount of work involved and because there is a bit of a learning curve if you are a complete beginner.
However, if you have been involved in blog creation for even a short period of time then you should be fine – there is nothing difficult involved in any of the processes.
If you are looking to improve the search engine rankings for any of your current web properties or want to build a “mini empire” of cash-pulling blogs then I fully recommend Google Supremacy which will provide you with a step-by-step guide to ensure your online efforts are successful.

Hi Brocha,
I am glad you enjoyed the review, it’s something I intend to do a lot more of on this blog.
I had earned a living online for three years when I signed up to Alex’s coaching as I needed to move on to the next level, so yes, I wasn’t a total newbie

It was good to read a such a comprehensive and unbiased review of Google Supremacy David. I like the fact that Craig has included an action plan. So many people buy these ebooks and courses and never do any thing with them or do it half heartedly. Taking action is half the battle.

Hi Sandy,
Thanks for your kind words about the review.
Google Supremacy is one of the better info products I have had access to this year and I say that as someone who knows a lot about SEO myself.
The 45-day action plan was a great addition to the training and will be of great help to those who invest in it.

Hi John,
Thanks a lot – SEO isn’t that hard as long as you approach it systematically as is outlined in Google Supremacy.
It’s the SEO companies who charge thousands per month who want you to believe it is more complicated than it is.

Hi David
I was pleasantly surprised to read a clear concise unbiased review. It has encouraged me to read more of your reviews in the future

Thanks Nigel.
If I am able to access a product ahead of its release I will give it the once over on my blog.
As my own standing online grows it will be interesting to see which marketers will be willing for the product to be reviewed properly, rather than just promoted…

Hi Dave
Thank you for an unbiased review of Google Supremacy. I’ve received several e-mails about the product but now that I’ve seen your review, I trust the product more. It’s like getting advice from a friend about a product or sale. I think Alex talked about this in his first module- something about association. I think he called it name dropping but that’s Alex for you- to the point.

David-
Thanks for taking the time to truly digest a product. I think too often people will just push through a review that they are given (with a bit of rewriting) and not speak from experience. I think that your form of reviews are the best to follow, and we should pattern ourselves after this. Honesty is the best policy. Thoroughness is required. And if we piss somebody off – oh well. Your reviews allow you to be a true source of information that people can DEPEND ON.
