First Webinar (Almost) a Success!
Last Thursday saw me host my first ever webinar as part of a series of six coaching modules. The webinar as an event went well, there were no real technical difficulties and I was quite confident delivering the content. There were plenty of attendees listening in too so there was even a Q&A session at the end and their feedback was also positive.
However, where things fell short of my own high standards was the production quality which only became apparent to me upon playing the recorded webinar back.
The sound was terrible and nowhere near what I would consider “professional audio”. It’s annoying because I believed my microphone headset would have been sufficient, it cost me £40 after all.
This week I am going to invest more money into my business and purchase a new PC which is geared more to video editing and a professional microphone.
What I plan to do is to re-record the first webinar, possibly this week, using the new microphone and then record two webinars per week from next week so all six are completed before Christmas.
So, if you missed Module 1, Plan to Get Rich… Forever, the first time round you have a second chance to listen in!

Dave,
I had an annoying experience with my own headset lately. I tried everything, even an active noise cancellation headset…
…only to find out that a relatively cheap one from TEAC did the job superbly.
So don’t always assume the higher you pay the better off you are. Hey, look at what you’re doing here. We pay nothing and get a ton of superb content.
