No sooner had I returned from an epic few days in Las Vegas, I was off on my travels again it seemed!

I spent three days in Newcastle, UK to attend Lee McIntyre’s Continuity Live workshop for another round of networking, drinking and of course, getting Lee’s take on continuity programs, a model I plan to develop in my own business in the not too distant future. (more…)

Twitter. Is it really of any use or is it just another fad which accomplishes nothing more than distracting you from what you need to be doing?

I am still undecided but I want to determine whether Twitter can be used productively or not. (more…)

Recently I have been receiving praise for my blogging efforts which has been fantastic – I am so proud of what I have achieved on this blog during it’s early stages, moreso the fact I have stuck to it than anything else (this is my third attempt at running a personal blog). (more…)

I have been meaning to put up a short blog post to summarise what went on during my six day drinking networking  session in Las Vegas but the severe jetlag and having to catch up with other things has prevented me from doing so until now.

But, here it is and it goes without saying you are only getting the version which is fit for a family blog like this one ;-) (more…)

I wrote a post on how to make your blog count but I still don’t think enough people “get” what is required to build and maintain an authority blog in your chosen niche.

I believe the new design will enable me to take my business forward in 2010 and I share a few notes I have made here to help you if you are considering revamping your own blog. (more…)

I have already written down my New Year’s Resolutions for 2010 (cunningly disguised as a set of business goals to achieve by the time the year ends) and I know the direction I want to take this year.

If I am being totally honest, it’s about bloody time I started take my online business seriously and stopped coasting from one half-assed project to the next… but I know there will be some people reading this who make exactly the same mistakes I made for years.

I don’t want this to happen to you – go back and read my first post if you are visiting for the first time. Trust me, you don’t want this to be you when we are getting ready to ring in 2011!

I want my blog to go from strength to strength this year and I want that for you too, so here are my best tips for making your blog count in 2010.

A few days ago I wrote a round up of what I have achieved so far since starting this blog in June.

It’s been a tough year overall in so much that I have had to literally restart my business from scratch, having made a full-time living online since 2006.

I don’t want to dwell on the reasons for having to start over in this post because you can read my story here if you want to find out more about me.

However, even though starting again was scary and this year I have not enjoyed the same income as I did a couple of year ago, I can see that progress has been made and I feel I am in a strong position where I can go all out in 2010. (more…)
