Hey David, thanks for this awesome post! It confirms that I’m going the right way. I’m building a new blog and all the steps I took are in your article! That doesn’t mean your post was useless to me, on the contrary it’s very important for me to get confirmations on what I’m doing and heading to. Thanks David, This not only a great post… you’re a good communicator and writer. Authority rules the world of blogging. There are a lot of blogger’s named Pete and repeat. I’m sharing these excellent tips across Social Networks today. While I do prefer Thesis and use it on many blogs it is good to see another blogger making a specific recommendation. There is value in sharing what you recommend and why. I wish more bloggers would be willing to do just that.

Hi David,

This is my second visit to your blog and the first time commenting. I really like your post on Creating an Authority Blog.

I agree with the points you are making.

#1 is where you are doing really well.

I can’t get over how you found the right pictures to illustrate the points. One green m&m in the sea of blue m&ms. The cornerstone, the hook and all.

Where did you find all the pictures ?

The point about not neglecting SEO is very crucial I think. Many bloggers completely neglect this.

Having a professional theme is very important especially when you start getting up there like you are.

I plan to visit more often now that I realize the value that can be found here.

David a great write up and it made me realize many things..Mistakes which I’m making to make money online…
I was about to forget that I make money because ppl trust me and my words and seeing easy money I was about to misguide them with wrong product for affiliate…but after reading your article I realize how important it is to maintain your authority in a field…….!!
